Lola Cosima Lombardi

(Not a lot of girls, I noticed! So here I am snagging, in my unpopular opinion, my favorite girl)

Orientation: Straight, most of the time.

History: It isn't easy being a middle child when you've got three older sisters, and a younger sister, and only one youngest brother that seems to be the only child your Dad pays any attention to. Not only did she have to deal with using the crappy cracked face powders she stole from her older sisters, but then her younger sister would steal that from her. Needless to say, she needed to make herself stand out, and having love and attention became the most important thing to her over time. Her father's idolization of the only other male in the family, her now twelve year old brother Tino, rubbed off on her. She's exceptionally protective of Tino herself, and he is the only boy who she doesn't see as an adoring fan.

The attention from boys started out very early, at first mostly because Lola's family owns a sub and pizza takeout joint that they live above. Of course, once she and everyone else hit puberty, boys started seeing another possible perk to being nice to her besides cheap pizza. Because of her older sisters, Lola started dressing very mature, very quickly, and her body matured just as fast as her wardrobe. The girls at school started to hate her very quickly, but what did she care? She had five women at home who were obligated to love her, plus cousins, so Lola didn't really see a need for further female company. Hanging out with boys was new and exciting, an especially nice break from the pink and perfumed room she shared with her older and younger sister.

But as she's getting older, she can't help but notice that people don't take her seriously. Even the love that the guys around her have for her isn't unconditional, which is depressing. Having the guys who she considered her friends-and okay, yes, her lovers-call her a slut made her upset. None of it was untrue, but Lola isn't going to stop anytime soon, but now with more a defiant attitude. Lola knows they need her, and if even if they hate her for being who she is, they couldn't abandon her for very long.

Personality: Yes, Lola actually does have one. Just like her companion, Johnny Vincent can be, the most noticeable trait of Lola's is her neediness. She hates it when people don't listen or pay attention to her, and she has a hard time listening to people talk about things other than herself. This doesn't make her very easy to talk to, especially if you want to talk to her about your own issues. If you do somehow force her to focus-an admirable feat- however, she can be very useful in figuring out personal problems, of which she has in spades. Because Lola spends a lot of her time without boys walking around alone, she thinks a lot about life, some of these thoughts being rather deep. Unfortunately, because she is often too selfish to cultivate strong relationships with people, these are often wasted and stay in her head and in her journal, which is filled with pretty solid philosophical theses, albeit racked with spelling and mechanics errors, and places where she kissed the page to admire the shape of her lips.

As can be seen with Johnny Vincent, a relationship with Lola, romantic or platonic(what's that?) can be one hell of a life ruiner. She's very friendly, because as she says, she just wants to be nice to people. But when Lola gets bored, you better remember to impress her, because she doesn't want to stick around someone if they're not being cool anymore. She's known for walking away in the middle of talking to people because she thought of something better to do, or making out with someone else in the middle of dating people because she thought of someone better to do. Wait, what?
