Tunnel of Love? (OPEN TO ALL! Self Inserts welcome)

(I thought this would be a cool idea for an RP.)

An advertisement is strewn all across Bullworth, including the academy itself. Billy Crane's Traveling Carnival has expanded! And along with this expansion, a tunnel of love. Now not only can you win your girl or guy a prize, you can get closer than /ever/ before.

[Winston]

Another boring day at Bullworth Academy meant another moment to relax. Upon hearing these advertisements, he was curious as to what everyone's reaction would be to the prospective Tunnel of Love. Would they brush it off as stupid? He was fairly certain that Greasers would want to pucker up, being the stereotypical hopeless romantics that they are. Winston brushed by the ticket booth, flicking aside a couple of dollars as if he literally couldn't care less. But for the most part, he wanted to see if /Hopkins/ was going to take any other girl or guy. He leaned against the Go-Kart booth, staring at the heart-shaped entrance. Since classes JUST let out, only adults were present.

[Kirby]

"Alright, boys. No practice today. You made me proud out there, showing those feckless maggots that Bullworth is number one." Burton announced. In an instant, the Football team (And Constantinos) cheered, and filed out of the locker room. They all tended to gravitate towards the football field regardless. But something else caught Kirby's eye. A fluttering flier with peculiar colors all over it. He snatched it in mid-air.

"Billy Crane is proud to introduce the tunnel of love." The "O" was replaced with a giant heart. "Bring your boyfriend or girlfriend for an experience you wont forget." The first thought that came to his mind was Trent Northwick. Since Hopkins caught them holding hands at the theatre, their relationship had gone downhill. Kirby would avoid glancing at him, he'd walk faster whenever Trent approached him... But he couldn't have everyone knowing that he liked boys.

Glumly, he pedaled his cheap, rusty bike to the carnival. Hopping off and taking two bucks from his wallet, emblazoned with his name. There weren't many students around, a couple preppies, one greaser at most... He just had to wait and see who arrived.

[Zack]

The air was somewhat moist in Billy Crane's Traveling Carnival. Zack pushed the gate open, searching for something to kill time. He immediately noticed the abundance of cheap advertisement fliers. He approached one and ripped it off of a port-o-potty.

"Do you feel as if you are forever alone? Well wait for your true love no more! Billy Crane is proud to introduce the tunnel of love! Come to the carnival between 10:00am and 9:00pm to get in on the fun!"

He looked up to see Winston Harrington leaning against the go-kart booth. Jackpot. He waltzed over to the small, tender prep and gave his all at a pick-up line.

"Hey, Winston. Wanna go in the tunnel of love?" Not exactly subtle...


[Gary]

Gary Smith stood behind a dumpster in the back of Billy Crane's. He found that the loud crowd of carnival patrons made him look more inconspicuous and invisible. He finished urinating and zipped his pants up. When he turned, he spotted a flier on the ground. He picked it up and scanned his eyes along it. Tunnel of Love, eh? Sounds fun, I guess. He started toward the giant heart-shaped hole in the wall.

"I'm actually waiting for someone else." He replied. "Not to go in with, unless he asks. But I'm staking it out, you understand, right?" Still, since Zack was his friend, he gave him a hug. "It all depends on what happens later, but until then, I hear Angie has no one to go with." He teases. Yes, truth be told, he was obsessively waiting for James Stephen Hopkins. He swore that if he came in the arm of another boy or girl, Jimmy's cheek would regret it, and so would his groin.

He hated being treated like a tramp, and if he came with anyone else... It was going to be proven.

Zack grudgingly rolled his eyes and accepted the hug. Tease me about my crush, eh? "I know what this is. You're waiting for Mr. Baldy, aren't ya? Good luck." It only added insult to injury that his friend-crush had a thing going on with who was most likely Zack's most hated peer. "If only he didn't have a thing with every other girl in Bullworth." He wasn't gonna let Winston get away from this argument.

"Wow, it was a joke, if you're going to act that way, then just fuck off." He waved his hand, taking a few steps to the right. It was mostly just because he was in denial. He wanted to believe that Jimmy actually cared for him and wanted to be with him. But still, it scared him to think that he'd come in the arm of another guy or girl.

If Zack wanted to go with him, he'd have to apologize, and Jimmy would have to betray him.

[Jimmy and Lola]
"Slow down!"
Lola shrieked over to Jimmy, pedaling faster to keep up with him. Carnivals weren't all that interesting to Lola anyway, so she was trying to see if Johnny would be jealous if she went with Jimmy. But he was blazing at least ten feet in front of her. Even though Lola had a nicer bike than him, courtesy of the boys, she didn't want to start sweating and make her blush get all runny.

Jimmy knew better than to screw around with Lola, especially in public. Not only would every trick he ever had ever within ten feet of him start freaking out, all of Lola's old flames would probably start freaking out. But he was still same old Jimmy, and when Lola begged for him to ride with her there because she was scared, as she put it, he wasn't just going to leave her alone, or five bucks alone. As the carnival came into sight, he jumped off of "his" bike, glancing over his shoulder to see Lola slowly catch up and get off her bike.
"So?" he said expectantly, waiting to be paid.
"Oh, here." Lola said, handing him the fiver and adjusting her lipstick as they walked to the ticket booth.

But Lola would be damned if she paid for anything. As they neared the ticket booth, she gasped in her typical theatrical fashion.
"Oh, no, Jimmy, that was all the money I had"
Jimmy glared over his shoulder at her as he took his ticket. He was honestly too tired to deal with her right now, and he didn't want to wear himself out before he could even play one game.

Frustrated, he thrust the five dollar bill back into Lola's hand.
"There, whatever. Have fun Lola."
With that he walked into the carnival, glancing around for someone he knew.

"Well, well, excuuuuse me. Someone's in denial, eh?", Zack said with a smirk. His smirk flattened into a serious tone. "Listen, I know you like that kid. But at the very least pick someone who cares about you. You don't want to be just another one of Jimmy's bitches."

[Gary]

Gary glanced around the carnival, searching for someone to go with. His eyes locked on a familiar face. James Stephen Hopkins. Jackpot. He approached Jimmy with a devious smile on his face.

"Well hello James." He could tell that Jimmy was already close to punching him. "So nice to see you here. You going on a hot date to the tunnel of love?"

"You know what, you're right, I guess. But I'm going to give him a chance. I know you have a deal with James because of how he treated Gary, and I suppose I should have something against him for how he treated Derby, but I've learned to live and let live. As long as James just doesn't flaunt himself around... I suppose I'll be fine."

He rounded the corner, to get away from Zack. And there he was. Gary was moving in on Jimmy, and he saw Lola Lombardi, right there near him. As much as he wanted to confront Jimmy, he wasn't going to. He moved up on Jimmy, with a smile on his face. He brushed off Gary for the moment. "Oh, hello Jimmy! I've been looking everywhere for you."

"I was wondering if you'd like to..." He blushed, he couldn't believe he was going to make the move. "Go on the new Tunnel of Love with me?"

[Zack]

He will never learn, will he? "Whatever suits your-" Zack didn't have time to finish as Winston turned the corner, abruptly ending their conversation. He rolled his eyes, leaned against the nearest wall, and slid down to the ground.

[Gary]

Gary continued to smirk at Jimmy, when out of the corner of his eye came some small prep, who proceded to interrupt him and ask out Hopkins. "Excuse me, twerp, but I was talking.", he said and shoved the prep out of the way.

Winston- now he'd have someone to hang out with at the carnival. Maybe it would be a nice way to put Delilah down gently if they went into the Freak Show. But for now, if Winston wanted the Tunnel of Love, that'd be where they went. He breezed past Gary, not interested in any rubbish he had planned. But before he could even inhale to respond to Winston, Gary started some more shit. What was even the point of shoving a guy like Winston? He was so small it was swatting a fly, not even fun if that was how you got your kicks. Jimmy stepped between them and shoved Gary back.
"What hell, Gary? You're talking, but I really don't care what you have to say. Why don't you go find Jezebel and take her into the Tunnel of Love with you? I'm sure you guys would be a perfect match."

Meanwhile, Lola wasn't interested in boys fighting if it wasn't over her. What was the point of that, anyway? If there wasn't a pretty girl to motivate a man, what would? Then she caught sight of Winston and understood. Sighing, she said to Winston as she wandered past,
"Aren't you the lucky one?"
She was bored out of her mind- hello? What was this? He glanced over to Zack. Who was that kid? Whatever, wherever there was a lonely male, there was a Lola Lombardi just in the nick of time. Adjusting her scarf briefly, Lola sauntered over.
"Carnivals are so exciting, aren't they? It's only too bad, the Tunnel of Love is right there and I'm alone."
Lola knew that boys saw her words as mostly theatric, but that was part of her appeal, as far as she could see.

[Zack]

Sitting on the cold concrete ground, Zack glanced up to see who else but Lola Lombardi strutting towards him. Well, at least I won't have to try for her. She started talking about the Tunnel of Love, strongly hinting that she wanted to go with him. Or more likely somebody at all. "Lola...", Zack inhaled, "...do you want to go to the Tunnel of Love with me...?", he finished as he stood.

[Gary]

The smartass smile stayed on Gary's face as Jimmy pushed him back and made a half-assed taunt. "Now now, James, not trying to impose. Interruption isn't nice, that's all." He glared heavily and intently at the small, frail prep behind Jimmy.

Winston simply watched as the altercation took place. It was going to get bad if he let it, so he decided not to. He gently grabbed Jimmy's hand. "Now, now... Let's not get barbaric, come on." He tugged on Jimmy's arm a bit as he walked towards the tunnel of love. Honestly, if Jimmy were in the fighting mood, it would take a lot to get him away. He only hoped that the urge to be close to each other in a boat ride of privacy would be enough to pry him away from his rival.

"And your glares don't scare me, Smith." Even for a small guy who couldn't take a hit, Winston had a delusion of power. It seemed to him that if he were even struck, or he even cried out in pain, it served as a Prep signal, they'd all fly to hid aid, speeding on their bikes or swarming the streets like an angry mob just to beat up the offender.

[Kirby]

He had nothing to do, and no one to be with. He found it to be pointless to even come. When Mandy came around, he didn't want to make himself visible, after all, she'd end up wanting to make amorous advances, and he wouldn't be able to. The only reason he had for so long is just so nobody made fun of him or ostracized him.

And then he saw a little scuffle about to take hold, two of the school's biggest rivals. Jimmy, who was about to be escorted away, and Gary... Who, for lack of a better word, was interesting. He made sure to lean on the sign nearby, looking at the various galleries and games to feign disinterest. But he was listening attentively, with nothing better to do.

Gary was beginning to enjoy his life away from school, with no prefects to stop the fights he instigated. The small prep whose name he still didn't know responded saying that he 'wasn't scared' of Gary. "Now-", he started,"-whatever your name is, do you really think I believe you? Is Bif gonna stop me?", he teased with a sarcastically scared emphasis on 'Bif'.

Just then, he glanced over to see Kirby, leaning against a sign, obviously trying to invoke a fake disinterest in him. Now, when he was done fucking with Hopkins and his blushing bride to be, he had a fellow closeted homo to go to the Tunnel of Love with. "Alright, alright, I'll tell ya what. I'm sorry, okay? I'm getting outta line. Here, squirt", he gestured to the prep, "You can punch me in the arm, right here." He pointed to his shoulder. "Sound good?", he asked with a raised eyebrow'd smirk.
